Lush Bath Bomb Haul
A Lush bath is the perfect end to any day, especially ones that have been particularly stressful, long, or otherwise trying. I wish I could turn every bath into a Lush bath, but Lush goodies are a bit pricey, so I have to save them for special occasions.
I had been wanting to buy some bath bombs for months, but I just couldn’t justify it to myself. But after passing the store many times and inhaling that wonderful Lush smell, I finally decided to treat myself to a few bath bombs since my final semester of university is shaping up to be a busy one.
I chose five bath bombs, though I wanted to buy one of each kind, since they’re all so marvelous!
- The round yellow one is Fizzbanger, described as “apple cinnamon bath time fireworks”. It smells amazing, with notes of apple, spicy cinnamon, and toffee, and sounds like pop rocks as it dissolves in the bath. Plus, in the very center is a little paper with “BANG!” written on it in comic book style, which I think is adorable.
- The bluish-purple round one is Blackberry. It turns your bathwater a lovely purplish shade, and smells fruity and delicious, with notes of blackberries, bergamot, to relieve tension, and frankincense, which makes you feel cozy and comfortable.
- The heart shaped white one is Tisty Tosty, which is a romantic rose scent. Rose perfume is said to make you feel happy, positive, and ease tension. It’s also moisturizing for your skin and has real rosebuds in it!
- The round green one is Avobath, which is described as “zingy lemongrass and fresh avocados for soft, happy skin”. This one is great if you’re feeling tired or grey and need a bit of invigorating. It’ll zap you right back to life and turn your water shimmering green. Plus, the avocado and olive oil moisturize your skin!
- And finally, Phoenix Rising – probably my favorite bath bomb from Lush. This one is heavy, so it sinks to the bottom of the tub when you toss it in, and slowly rises up, fizzing out a spicy apple and cinnamon scent. It’s a gold-dusted royal purple – and makes your bathwater absolutely dazzling. And there’s an actual cinnamon stick in it!
I can’t wait to use these – but I’m saving them for days when I really need the extra luxury. The joy of having Lush goodies in the house is that they make your whole room smell lovely!
