Nails of the Week: Pink Arches
This week I tried something new on my nails, since I had a bit of extra time and was feeling experimental. I used three shades of pink polishes to create a sort of ombre pink arch look.
- The lightest pink: Sephora by OPI “Techno Girl” (right)
- The medium pink: Essie “Fiesta” (middle)
- The darkest pink: Essie “Plumberry” (left)
I started by painting my nails with the lightest pink polish, then took the medium pink and painted the middle part of my nails over that, and finally the very center with the darkest pink on top of it all.
It was a very simple and fast process, since there’s no need to wait for any layer to dry completely before you move on to the next color. I’m happy with the way it turned out, especially for a first attempt.
I might try this with a different combination of colors next time! xx
