Quick Hair Idea: Beaded Headband
Today I wore the beaded knot headband I bought in my recent Forever 21 haul. I was having a fairly good hair day, so I didn’t want to pull all of my hair back with it. Instead, I put it on (the normal way), then pulled the front sections of my hair out, from either side of my part. Using my fingers, I brushed through everything a little, to fix any messiness that caused, then took a comb and brushed back the hair on the crown on my head to give it a bit of lift.
If you want to make this look a little more 60’s, you can tease and hairspray the hair on your crown to create a bouffant. I might try that next time if I’m going somewhere fancy, but today I was just going to class, so I didn’t bother.
This hairstyle will work with any elastic hairband, but it’s especially pretty with detailed ones. The knotted bead one I’m wearing is no longer available, but Forever 21 has a ton of cute, inexpensive ones online to choose from, if you’re looking to recreate this look.
