Book Review: Inferno
Dan Brown’s books, to me, are like great action/adventure movies – in print form. They’re filled with twists, turns, and cliffhangers, and I find myself gasping aloud more than once.
Inferno is the fourth book in Dan Brown’s Robert Langdon series, and it will take you on a thrilling romp around the world: uncovering clues, unravelling a mystery, and solving a desperate crisis before time runs out – all the while serving up interesting historical tidbits.
If you enjoyed other Robert Langdon books, like The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, you’ll love this. Not only will you explore great works of art, feel like you’ve travelled Italy, and learn about Dante’s Inferno, you’ll be posed an interesting ethical question (which I won’t spoil here).
I love Dan Brown’s unique cocktail of real-world facts and exhilarating storytelling, and like his other books, I couldn’t put this book down. At nearly 500 pages, Inferno may seem daunting to some, but once you start, you won’t be able to stop (or sleep!).
Highly recommend if you’re an art history, architecture, or history buff – or if you’re just looking for your next book to get lost in.
Have you read this, or his other books? What did you think? Leave a comment below and let me know. xx
