Haul: JustFab, Lulu’s, & More
I’ve been pretty good about curbing my impulsive shopping habits lately, but here’s a collection of a few things I’ve bought in stores or online over the past little while.
When I saw these adorable rose sandals from Lulu’s, I knew immediately they had to be mine. They’re charming, romantic, and the ankle strap keeps them from sliding off your heels. (That tends to be a problem for me with flats.)
I love that these are simple enough to be worn with a casual outfit, but chic enough to be dressed up for a summer night out, when you’re just not in the mood for heels.
Get the Outlast Black Rose Lace D’Orsay Flats by Chinese Laundry here. Mind you, their sizing does run large, so you’d do well to order yours a full size smaller than your regular shoe size.
My July purchase from JustFab was the City Slicker backpack. While I’m generally more of a purse girl, I thought a backpack would be a good thing to have in my closet. It’s stylish and perfect for outdoor adventures or anytime you just want your hands free.
It’s made of a beautiful cognac faux leather, complete with gold hardware. (It’s also available in black, which looked really nice too.)
Bigger than it seems on the site, with dimensions listed at 11.5”L x 14”H x 6.5”W, it’s big enough to hold notebooks, folders, and iPads. I wish I had a backpack this stylish back when I was in high school!
The straps are long and adjustable, so you can wear it high on your back, or low and slouchy. (I prefer the latter.)
It’s kind of amazing how much this bag can hold! The interior features one zip pocket and two small pouches, perfect for keys or a phone.
And finally, from Bath & Body Works, I picked up two hand soaps from their summer collection. I love their antibacterial foaming soaps, because, well, they’re fun to pump. Plus they’re inexpensive, leave no residue on your hands when you rinse off, and smell fantastic!
Since it’s the summertime, I grabbed two fruity scents: Apple Mango and Pink Berry Citrus. I maaaaay have bought these largely because I enjoy the packaging and they smell yummy.
Bonus: there was a sale on (isn’t there always, at Bath & Body Works?), so I managed to nab both for $6!
