Nails of the Week: Fancy French
I try to do my own nails whenever possible, but there are two things I just can’t do myself: Shellac and French manicures. So when I went to get my nails done last week, that’s what I got the professionals to do.
I’ve raved about the benefits of Shellac manicures before: they last for ages without chipping (I’ve had one that lasted 3 weeks!) and cause minimal damage to your nails. I love them, and they’re a worthwhile splurge for when you want a worry-free manicure that lasts.
French manicures never go out of style, because they look clean, classy, and elegant. Perhaps one day I’ll master the skill myself so I can do it from home – but for now I’ll leave it to the experts. xx
