Nails of the Week: Holiday Red
This is the nail polish I was wearing at my birthday party and for the past week. I wanted something that fit the 1940s theme for my outfit, but also something that was festive and December-appropriate. So, red it was!
Specifically, Essie’s “After Sex”. (Don’t polishes have such funny names sometimes?)
It’s a cranberry red with a beautiful metallic sheen to it, that catches in the light nicely.
I applied 2 coats initially, then another coat a few days later when it started to chip. Gorgeous polish, and it dries quite quickly.
I’ve just taken it off a week later, and am trying to decide what I want to do for this year’s Christmas manicure. Any ideas? xx
