Forever 21 Haul Extravaganza

There’s the saying, “Money can’t buy happiness”, and then there’s another one: “Whoever said money can’t buy happiness didn’t know where to shop.” I tend to agree with the latter, because when I un-boxed this Forever 21 order the other day, I was virtually exploding with excitement over everything. It was like Christmas morning!

I did go a little overboard, but I liked everything so much that I couldn’t bear to put anything back. Plus, Forever 21’s fantastic prices make it so easy to justify everything!

First up, I got this stunning crocheted lace chiffon dress. Yes, it’s a summer dress, and yes, summer is over – but there’s always next year! Forever 21 changes their stock or sells out so quickly, so when I see something I love, I know I have to nab it right away or it’ll be gone in a heartbeat!

And maybe I can style it with a blazer and tights for fall. We’ll see.

Love the delicate broderie anglaise lace detailing. So feminine!

I also grabbed this pretty black gem and gold statement necklace. Statement necklaces like these dress up any outfit, and black goes with everything. So naturally it had to be mine.

My collection of statement necklaces is ever-growing, but I wear them with dresses, shirts, blouses –even basic tees! (That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.)

I got two tops, one of them is gorgeous and stripey (never enough stripes!) and the other a polka-dotted shirt. (Never enough polka dots in my book, either.)

This one gives me such a retro feel, with the thin navy & white stripes. Reminds me of something Taylor Swift might wear. (Here’s the link!)

It came in a bunch of cute colour combinations, and was on sale for only $9.99. I wasn’t about to say no to that, how could I?

It’s got button detailing on the 3/4 length sleeves and a boat neck cut. The material feels so soft and cozy!

Aaaand here’s the second top. A beautiful baby blue Oxford dress shirt with navy polka dots.

‘Twas beauty killed the beast. (Or in my case, my credit card.)

If you love it as much as I do, you can get yours here. I can’t wait to wear it to work! (That was my justification for buying it, in case you were wondering.)

And last but certainly not least, the item I’m most excited about:

These booties! I can’t get enough of them, they’re so lovely.

They’re available in both black and chocolate brown. I chose chocolate brown because (judging by the photos online), I thought they looked nicer and more expensive. (But they were not expensive at all. Score!)

The cut makes them super comfortable, because they’re tall enough to avoid giving your ankles blisters. I don’t like getting sliced and diced by my footwear. Not one bit.

The thick (and not too tall) heel makes them elegant but incredibly easy to walk in for hours. I can’t believe I found these at Forever 21!

They remind me of the old-fashioned boots English ladies used to wear at the turn of the century. Oh how I adore them. They’re the perfect transitional summer-to-autumn boot, and I can’t wait to wear them everywhere. xx
