Fall Haul (Modcloth + Lord & Taylor)

Modcloth always gets me with their adorable array of products, whether it’s clothes, accessories, or just cute stuff for the home. This time, I picked up a few of my fall fashion essentials.

The infinity scarf (otherwise known as the circle scarf) is a scarf with no end. I’m pretty sure they were invented for people like me, who never knew what to do with the two scarf tails.

This “Come Full Circle Scarf” in burgundy is made from 100% cotton, and feels so soft and cozy. It makes my neck feel all warm and snuggly when I wear it. Love it!

I also picked up a second infinity scarf from Modcloth – this one thicker and knitted. The cute scalloped edges and pumpkin color make it the perfect scarf to get cozy in for fall. It’s like a pumpkin spice latte, in scarf form.

It’s called the “Seasonal Brew Circle Scarf” on the site. You can get it here!

These are my all-time favorite tights. They’re opaque and warm, and really good quality so they don’t tear or run easily.

They’re called the “Tights for Every Occasion”, and they come in a wide range of colors on the Modcloth site. I got them in black.

And now for the pièce de résistance of my Modcloth haul: these stunning lace-up boots. You may remember spotting them in my recent OOTD post.

I’d been eying these pretty babies on the site for months before I finally decided to buy them. They’re gorgeous and old-timey, but the best part is: you don’t have to actually bother with the laces, because they zip up the side! Oh, and they’re completely vegan. Boo-yah.

I’d read some reviews saying to size up or size down, but I’m an 8.5 and I bought an 8.5, and I’m completely happy with the size. I adore them, and I love that they can be worn with pants, but are dressy enough to be paired with a skirt or dress, too.

You can get your own pair of “Prospectress Boots” here. That’s it for my Modcloth Haul, but I did buy one more fall fashion-related item:

A red woollen coat, by Lord & Taylor. I was with my mum, helping her shop at a department store (The Bay, for any fellow Canadians), and I happened to spot this beautiful coat on a rack. I loved it instantly, and luck was on my side, because it was down from $149 to just $49! Getting something on sale (especially such a big one!) is such a thrill.

Mum actually loved it too, so she got the same one in navy. Now we’re coat twins.

It’s hard to tell from the photo, but the coat is really nicely tailored, so it’s very flattering on. The back of the coat has some really elegant pleating details, too. I feel like Little Red Riding Hood when I wear it – especially with my lace-up boots! x
